Phase 7 - Equipment Delivery and Installation:

After the decking has been completed, the pool equipment will be delivered. The plumbing crew will return to install the equipment. Do not touch any valves or controls. After the equipment has been installed, the electrician will return to complete the wiring and bonding.

Once the electrical hookup is completed, all power must remain "off." Under "no" circumstances should the power be turned on to any of the equipment because it will cause damage to the pump(s) or light(s).

FACTS:

  • Make sure you find a good location to install your pool equipment. You will want to put it somewhere that is out of site and away from your primary decking area. This equipment will be very noise while filtering and cleaning.
  • There are many pool equipment companies. Make sure you have a clear understanding of the equipment and how it operates and how to clean it.
  • It your equipment is cleaned and checked as the manufacture suggests, it will last you several years.
