Phase 3 - Plumbing for the Swimming Pool:

This phase does not require you to be present, with the exception that you will need to provide access to the job site and/or secure any animals.

When the plumbing crew has finished, they will place all the lines under water pressure. It is very important, not to tamper with these valves. If the pressure should drop on the gauge, please call your pool company immediately.

FACTS:

  • This phase is extremely important to have your swimming pool last. If the plumbing is installed incorrectly, you will have lots of problems in the future.
  • This stage of construction is considered very dangerous to children and animals. Please keep everyone out of the construction area for their safety.
  • Pipes will be protruding into the pool and decks. They will be removed at a latter date.

Building our Swimming Pool

Phase 1 - Layout & Excavation

Phase 2 - Structural Steel Placement

Phase 3 - Plumbing

Phase 4 - Gunite Installation

Phase 5 - Tile, Masonry, Rockwork

Phase 6 - Decking and Keystone

Phase 7 - Equipment Installation

Phase 8 - Plaster

The Plumbing installation was completed by our Swimming Pool Company. Most of the other work has been subcontracted out to other companies.

It took them a few days to grade around the pool with a bobcat, then they installed the plumbing around and in the pool area. They used PVC pipe. This is a picture of where the pipes were places and where the plumbing equipment is going to be installed.

Most of the plumbing gets covered when they do the grading for the decking, except for the pipes inside of the pool. They stick out until the last phase.
